The Whitmore Group hires Bruce Wise

The Whitmore Group has announced Bruce Wise has joined the company as director of railroad sales, and will oversee the global railroad operations of the company. Wise comes to the Whitmore Group after serving as vice president and general manager of Portec Rail Products, Inc.—RMP Division.

Wise currently also serves on the Board of Directors of the Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA) and as a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance Right-of-Way Association; for many years he also was on AREMA’s Technical Committee 4—Rail.

“Bruce is the perfect fit to lead our organization’s rail efforts,” said The Whitmore Group President and CEO Jeff Peterson. “The timing was right and the chemistry was outstanding with our employees, distributors and our customers and when he became available, we could not pass up the opportunity to bring him on board. We believe he will help our customers accelerate their endless pursuit of reducing their annual maintenance and capital equipment costs through Whitmore’s lubrication products and services. Bob Holland, Whitmore’s railroad sales manager, will continue to focus his efforts on the North American market, the company said.
