Railway Interchange 2011 takes place in two months, beginning Sept. 18, 2011, in Minneapolis, Minn.

interchange_logo.jpgThe four-day combined industry exhibition and technical conference is the first North American event combining the technical conferences of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and the Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA). Railway Interchange 2011 also features an exhibition by members of the Railway Supply Institute (RSI), the Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA), and Railway Systems Suppliers, Inc. (RSSI).

Technical sessions will be held in the Minneapolis convention center, and the exhibition takes place both at the convention center and on and off the tracks at the nearby Humboldt Yard.

Highlighting the speakers addressing the conference is U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, who will address the gathering on Monday, Sept. 19.

A preliminary schedule is available online here.

Registration for Railway Interchange 2011 exhibition and technical sessions is ongoing; registration information and online access are available here. Member organizations have reserved hotel room blocks for their attendees; information and reservations may be found at here.
