Tara Soesbee joins STV as Vice President of Rolling Stock Client Engagement. Also, Dan Manojlovski joins H.W. Lochner, Inc. (Lochner) as Chief Operating Officer.

STV announced Aug. 19 that Tara Soesbee has joined the firm as Vice President of Rolling Stock Client Engagement.

Soesbee is a passenger rail industry veteran with a long-standing record of delivering impactful transit vehicle programs across the nation, STV noted. In her new role, she will work closely with leading agencies throughout North America to “support vehicle procurement programs while supporting STV’s national vehicle practice with strategic pursuits.”

Prior to joining STV, Soesbee was the Senior Director for Amtrak’s long-distance fleet replacement program, a multi-billion-dollar capital program to replace the national railroad’s Long-Distance Fleet, including all aspects of operationalizing the new fleet. Additionally, she worked at a professional services firm as a Vice President of Rolling Stock where she supported vehicles projects for major agencies such as the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) and the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LA Metro), NJ Transit and Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) New York City Transit. She also served as a Senior Program manager accountable for the execution of several new rail vehicles and capital improvement projects for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA)

Soesbee earned a degree in human services from Alfred State College – State University of New York College of Technology. 

Lochner

Lochner on Aug. 19 announced the appointment of Dan Manojlovski, PE, as Chief Operating Officer. With more than 30 years of A/E industry experience, he bring to Lochner “a record success in building high performing organizations and maximizing top- and bottom-line performance,” the infrastructure planning and engineering services firm noted.

Working out of Lochner’s Chicago headquarters, Manojlovski will oversee day-to-day operations, with a focus on “optimizing performance and driving strategic growth initiatives as the company seeks to further capitalize on emerging opportunities in the infrastructure sector,” according to Lochner.

Manojlovski’s career has been marked by significant achievements across transportation sectors, including aviation, highways and bridges, ports and maritime, and transit and rail. He most recently served as Interim Director and Senior Vice President for the Transportation Group at CDM Smith, developing and implementing market strategies to expand transportation services nationally. Prior to that assignment, Manojlovski held multiple senior leadership roles at AECOM, including Regional Business Line Leader/Senior Vice President for the US West Transportation Group, providing oversight for 1,650 employees in 30 states and driving revenue and sales goals.

Manojlovski holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in multiple states, including Illinois, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Texas, and Washington.
